I NEED HELP!

Ok, so this what is new with us. Rylee has learned to climb out of her crib and take her diaper off and pee on things!!! what do i do?!?! I know it sounds kind of dumb, but it makes it so much harder and more time consuming to put her down for a nap and dont even get me started on bedtime! Laugh it up everybody.... it is kind of funny if it isnt happening to you. So i want to know, does anybody else have that problem, had that problem or know of anybody that did. i would love some tips and suggestions.

Jenna was her age when I moved her to a twin bed with those saftey side gate things. She was totally young, but we just moved and I had Cody, so I kind of forced her to grow up :( She never tried to climb out though. My sis in law moved her kid out of the crib, she would leave the door open but put up a kid gate in the kids doorway, so even if they woke up, they couldn't get out- middle of the night episodes :) Jenna was potty trained shortly after turning 2, so maybe rylee is just preparing. talk to her about going on the toilet- maybe you'll luck out and she'll be ready, otherwise... duck tape those babys on!!!! hope the rambling makes sense.

thanks for the advice! the gate at the door is a good idea. she does like to sit on the toilet and act like she is going potty so i think thats why she takes her diaper off so often...she just needs to make the connection. i was thinking about getting one of those crib tents, but i am also thinking about just trying to get her to sleep in her big bed.... i guess its just trial and error.

Sorry...I am blog dropping, but I ran into the same problems with my little boy so I thought I would share my experience and what worked with us.

My little boy started climbing out of his crib when he was one. We started freaking out and bought one of this tent things, but it kind of scared me so I took it back. When I researched them online some lady said her little boy ripped the net and choked himself in it. Probably not true or very rare, but I couldn't keep it in good conscience. We just kept putting him back in which was annoying but after a week he quit doing it for awhile.

He also took his diaper off all the time so we only put him to bed with the pj bottoms that are tighter at the bottom and he hard the hardest time taking those off. He just gave up!

Good luck...that is super frustrating!
